Quality System

QMS (Quality Management System)

The QMS program at CPS consists of a complete set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Guidelines and has been developed for every phase of the design, skid fabrication, software development and testing of control system project as well as all aspects of the company business, including employee management, strategy management and financial management.

The standardized practices and guidelines dictate the methods and standards we use for tasks such as specification development, software/system development, project design reviews, test plans, change control, data archiving etc., so all clients are assured consistent high quality.

Our QMS is based on the “V” model which follows proven, industry-accepted guidelines such as GAMP, ISO, IEEE and business management models from organizations such as CSIA (Control System Integrators Association).

CPS has been in business long enough to also know that customers may have standards and procedures that must be followed, and we have designed our QMS to incorporate and use client standards when they exist.

Audits

CPS has been formally and informally audited by hundreds of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, food and companies from other industries. These audits have covered topics from engineering practices to data backup and disaster recovery – from inventory management to process design review – from the test procedures used to inspect control panels to orbital welding and borescoping procedures.

CSIA Best Practices and Benchmarks – CPS also underwent comprehensive third-party audits against the CSIA Best Practices and Benchmarks to become a CERTIFIED member of the CSIA (Control System Integrators Association)
